Prospective Authors

Submissions

We are currently accepting submissions from prospective authors. Please read our mission statement on our home page. If you believe your book is in line with our mission, you may submit your book for consideration for publication. Please carefully review the below guidelines and instructions for submission.

At this time we are only accepting submissions for illustrated picture books. Rhyming books are preferred. All manuscripts should be sent as a word document. For author illustrators, you will need to include a PDF file which includes both the text and illustrations.

Additional Instructions:

1. All text should be in 12 point font.

2. Page numbers should be included.

3. A title page is required for all files which should include the submitters name (if different from the author), author name, contact information, book title and word count.

We are only accepting electronic submissions. Please do not send printed manuscripts to our business address. All printed materials will be discarded.

Email manuscripts to submissions@middlegroundpress.com. You may anticipate a response in 4-6 weeks from the time of submission.
